Susan provides the Touch of Health and Healing for You and Your Animal Companions. Healing sessions are available for all animals as well as people - either in person or remotely. Services include horse massage, dog massage, cat massage, massage training, energetic healing and flower essences. For energetic healing, Susan is a Healing Touch for Animals Certified Practitioner, a Reiki III Practitioner, an EmoTrance Practitioner and has received training in Quantum Healing as well as other energetic healing modalities. Susan specializes in helping animals overcome fears, phobias, traumas, anxieties, and behavioral issues as well as helping people develop a Healing Partnership with their animal companions.

Biography / Description:
After graduating from college with a degree in Mathematics, I spent the next 13+ years working for the Department of Defense as well as various IT companies. After moving to NC, I started volunteering for the local SPCA and greatly enjoyed working with all of the wonderful animals and began to enjoy the time I spent volunteering more than the time I spent sitting in a cube in front of a computer. After seeing the emotional and sometimes physical pain the animals suffered from their time before they came to the SPCA, I knew I wanted to find a new career in which I could help these and other animals heal. Thus began my new career in animal massage and energetic healing. I have since expanded my practice to include energetic healing for people after experiencing first hand the impact a person's health & well-being can have on their animal companions.
Work history:
Since taking my first canine massage course in 2003 and starting my own canine massage business, I now have over 1,500 hours of training in various massage and bodywork modalities including canine massage, feline massage, canine sports massage, equine sports massage, Water Works, Reiki, animal acupressure, HTA, EmoTrance, Quantum Healing, and several other energetic healing techniques. I regularly volunteer my services to rescue groups to help the animals in their care heal and find their forever homes. I have worked with many different animals including dogs, cats, horses, elephants, rhinos, snakes, rats, birds, fish, squirrels, turtles, and guinea pigs.
